This is Victor. A couple years ago, he happened to ride his bike an extra 50 miles into @yosemitenps when @wornwear was there for Yosemite Facelift. Five months earlier, Victor had started in Fairbanks, AK and was on his way down to Argentina. He wasn’t quite half way yet and was stoked to get his daily peddlers patched up.
Come by the Yosemite Valley Visitor Center from September 25-27 during @yosemitefacelift to get your #wornwear fix.

In 2012 @sheltonjenn picked up a copy of Steve Roper's “Sierra High Route: Traversing Timberline Country, Second Edition” at the ranger station in Bishop. She carried it around for three years until the night she quit running, she opened the book for the first time.⠀⠀

Today, the House passed the “Arctic Cultural and Coastal Plain Protection Act” to safeguard critical wilderness habitat and sacred place of the Gwich’in people.
Shortly after, the @usinterior took a significant step towards opening up the Refuge to oil and gas exploration.
Now more than ever we must urge the Senate to protect the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge - see link in bio for more.

For our fly fishing ambassador @outsidehilary, the commitment to fly fishing runs deep. “Fly fishing is the strand that runs through all I love,” she says. The people, the places and the drive to protect them—fly fishing is always right there, at the heart.”
We built our newest wading boots with the same commitment to last a lifetime of wild fish and wild places. Patagonia built by Danner.

@patagonia_mtb presents “Dirt Magic,” a @tetongravity and @freehubmag film documenting Downieville, CA’s journey from dying mining town to mountain-bike mecca. Inspired by a desire to save their home trails, shaped by a grassroots organization’s unintentional stewardship, and fueled by the sport’s rowdiest festival, Downieville’s newest dirt miners are using that reputation to create a model community for struggling mountain towns across the globe—and it all started with a van, a chainsaw, and a few maxed-out credit cards.
